We got some more deep things coming in this volume, so hold on tight as we figure out what the hell is going on with the Sohma family.
Secrets of the curse revealed! Dive deep into the twisted relationship between Akito and Kureno, the most elusive member of the Sohma zodiac. Tohru tries to help, but finds herself in even deeper trouble. Good thing she has steadfast friends who will save the day!
Meanwhile, something is going on with Machi. When Yuki and Kakeru pay a visit to her house, will the secrets of her past be revealed? And trouble is on the horizon when Hatsuharu finally learns what Akito did to Rin. Will anything be able to stop his wrath, or will he do something he can’t take back?!
We finally start to see that the cure can be broken! We don’t know why or how, but we do know that the cure can be broken because of Kureno, the Sohma possessed by the spirit of the rooster. His bond has been broken but he has chosen to stay with Akito of his own choice.
We also see Yuki start to reach out more to others, specifically those who are members of the school presidency. He starts to figure out that he has more in common with Machi, a member of his presidency that doesn’t like perfect, so she tries to destroy it whenever she sees it.
We also find out what has happened to Rin, has she had seemed to have gone missing in the past few chapters. Once that’s figured out, Hatsuharu goes over the deep a bit, especially as he learns that it’s because of Akito that Rin is in the hospital once again. As he goes to confront Akito and things just start to fall apart for Akito, in more ways than one. Now only has his reign as “God” been one of abuse and manipulation, but they have also done nothing to grow as a person, making them a stunted person with too much power.
What happens when someone is given power over a group of people and they have never been denied anything in their lives? What happens then when that group of people start to revolt again the one in power? Comment below and let me know!
