Hey guys! It’s June 1, and it’s the start of Summer Reading for my library. YAY!!! Though I’m not allowed to have in-person programs (for good reason). While all of this is going on though, I do believe that it’s time for me to give you all an update on what I’ve read in the month of May.
Granted, it may not be that much, but I have picked up on my reading some, now that I’m getting back to somewhat normal work habits, like actually going to work. But, in the month of May I read a total of 8 books. That’s not a lot compared to what I was reading at this time last year, or even just a few months ago before COVID hit and everything went up in smoke.
I read Defy or Defend, The Last Wish: Introducing the Witcher, Joy at Work: Organizing Your Professional Life, Animosity, Vol. 4: The Walled City, Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky, Skyward, Vol. 2: Here There Be Dragonflies, Upright Woman Wanted, and Skyward, Vol. 3: Fix the World. I enjoyed all of these books and they have been a bright light in a time of dim light. Now, if we can just get people to wear masks, or at least stand the required distance away from everyone…
What have you been doing this past month to keep yourself busy? Are you planning on participating in Summer Reading at your library? Comment below and let me know!
