Hi guys! This is the very first day in July and that means we need to see how my June went and what that means for the rest of the year.
I read only 8 books in June. As it is the start of our Summer Reading Program, you would think that I would be reading a whole lot more. Nope, I actually have fallen down a bit on reading. Not much, but it’s busier at my library with all the kids there out from school, and now in my library more often. With more kids in the library, and just more people in general, I’m not able to read at the library as much. That’s okay though, because I’m getting ALL the experience that I need.
Also, I have an in-person interview for a Teen Librarian position at another library branch. I made it to the in-person interview! Thank you to everyone who possibly sent me good vibes, I now ask for your good vibes once again as I head towards the in-person interview.
Anyway! To the books that I’ve read this past month: The Rithmatist, I Owe You One, Shuri, Vol. 1: The Search for Black Panther, Lord Brocktree, The Beauty of the Moment, Five Enchanted Roses: A Collection of Beauty and the Beasts Stories, War of the Spark: Ravnica, and The Secret Loves of Geek Girls.
I read seven books and one comic. Not a lot this month, but that’s not always a bad thing. I will hopefully be able to up my reading this month; if not, then I just continue doing what I do best and that is read and possibly freak out over having a full-time job. Which reminds me, I need to work on my presentation for that.
What good things have gone on in your life? How have the last six months treated you? Comment below and let me know!
