It’s another Thursday Three and today I’m going to be talking about three characters that I absolutely LOVE! It’s going to be a little hard for me to narrow it down, so it just may come to the fact that I will need to come back to this in order to talk about some more of my favorite characters! Onto my faves (for now):

dragonsonMenolly from the Harper Hall series by Anne McCaffrey

Menolly is one of my favorite characters ever written. I love not only how much she goes through and stays strong, but she shows that her skills and talents are worth something, even if her family doesn’t see it

Shallan DaVar from The Stormlight shallanArchive by Brandon Sanderson

Shallan has quickly become someone that I love! Her character has gone through so much, so so much that it should have broken her, but she still goes forward with what she believes she needs to do. I love how much her new abilities are fueled by her already learned abilities of artistry. It also makes me want to be able to draw as well, so that also says something.

the martianMark Watney from The Martian by Andy Weir

Mark Watney is one of my favorites if only because he is one of the few characters that consistently makes me laugh. It helps that the narrator for the audiobook absolutely brings Mark Watney to life.

Off the top of my head, these are three of my favorite characters from books. I will probably check back into this topic, as I have a LOT of favorite characters. What are some of your favorite characters? Why do you like them? Comment below and let me know!
