Tiny Navajo Reads: Thursday Three Reasons I Blog About Books

Yep, it’s Thursday again and today we’re going to be talking about three reasons I blog about books. And truthfully, I’m not sure if I have ever told you guys why I blog, specifically why I blog about books. That’s part of the reason why I want to talk about it today.

I Love Books

I have read books all of my life. One of my earliest memories was when I was about four or five years old, I was sick and was either staying home from preschool or kindergarten. I had just finished eating some ramen my mom had made me and I was reading a Alphapets picture book on the couch in our small living room. Even now, when I’m sick at home, I read books.

I also work at a public library as essentially a reference librarian, so I am literally surrounded by books EVERYWHERE! How can I not write about books in my spare time?

I Love Sharing Books with Others

When it comes to books and books that I absolutely love, I want to share my love for books with everyone! Like, even when I see someone at the library check out a book that I have read, I have to tell them that I loved the book and that’s it an excellent choice/book/read!

I Want to Rant About My Books!!!

I love books (most of the time) and I want to just scream it out to the world! I want to say why I love them, and I want everyone to know why I love these books. I also want others to know why I don’t like certain books. There are books that I don’t like and I want to let others know why just in case they also don’t want to read certain types of books.

All in all, I want to write about books because, other than my husband, they are the loves of my lives. They let me travel and I want others to know how much I love books! Why do you guys blog about books? What is it about books that drives you to write about them? Comment below and let me know!

  1. Great post! Like you, I’ve always loved reading, and I want to share that love of reading with others. I also love connecting with other people who have the same bookish opinions as me, whether that’s a love for a certain series or (less frequently) distaste for a certain trope. Plus — it’s just so much fun! How can you go wrong?
