library wars 14Those of you who follow me on Goodreads will know that this is the volume that I left a small review on that reads: “‘Bout Damn Time! They finally kissed! I can now finally rest… Kidding, I must continue and see if they get Toma to safety!” Now onto the full review!

The Library Forces have decided that a censored author, Toma, must defect. But as he and the LF attempt to leave the courthouse, the roads are blocked by Media Betterment Committee troops!

Library Forces member Iku Kasahara and her sergeant (and secret crush) Dojo make off in another direction with Toma. But when Dojo is injured in the escape attempt, Iku is charged with protecting both the endangered author and the man she loves!

In this volume, we see how the Library Force decides to get Toma-san out of the country after his court case leads to him not being allowed to write for at least a year. Dojo and Kasahara end up being the last two with Toma-san as they struggle to get him to a foreign embassy that has agreed to shelter and allow Toma-san to defect to. It all seems to go down the drain the instant Dojo is shot and they are unable to move as fast they are needed to get to the train.

As they shelter in a bookstore and Kasahara and Dojo try to figure out what it is they need to do next, feels come to a head for Kasahara. Dojo and Kasahara realize that Dojo is not going to be able to move forward, he’s going to have to stay or risk dying, while Kasahara moves forward with Toma-san to get him to an embassy. As Kasahara and Toma-san get ready to leave, she finally breaks and she kisses Dojo! And she says that Dojo has to live so that Kasahara can come back and fully tell him how she feels!

So much fangirling happened at that moment that my husband looked over at me to figure out what was going on and I showed him the book and he immediately understood that it was a book thing. But what do you do when the moment happens and you start to fan out/geek out? What have been some of the best geek out moments for you? Comment below and let me know!
