Tiny Navajo Reads: November Update

November is over and there is only one month left in the year. One MONTH people! This year has been forever long but also stupidly short! Holy Moses, but this year has also been a good one, both for work and for this blog. So, here’s what I read this past month.

I only read eight books this month…and for me, if you’ve been keeping up with my monthly updates for the past little while, then you know that I tend to read anywhere from 12 to 20 books a month. I’m not sure what happened this month that I read less, but it’s not a bad thing either. I read Let’s Talk About Love, Death on the Nile, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, P.S. I Still Love You, Always and Forever, Lara Jean, Shiver, The Little Paris Bookshop, and I’d Rather Be Reading: The Delights and Dilemmas of the Reading Life.

Three of these books were ebooks that I absolutely had to buy because I NEEDED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED NEXT! Two were library books, one was an audiobook, and one was a book I already owned. There is a small thing I’m seeing here, I may be having a small reading slump, because I do have books I’m working on right now, but I don’t want to finish it. It seems really interesting, but I just can’t really get into it. It’s not bad yet, I’m still reading, it’s just slower is all.

Also, I have met my Goodreads challenge. I’m actually 23 books over my goal of 120 books to read this year. That may be the reason why I’m slowing down in my reading, but I’m also going to keep reading. I love it and it’s my way to relax and escape the world at times. Especially as the holiday season is coming upon us and it’s always a slightly more stressful time.

So, now that we are getting towards the end of the year, how are you guys on your Goodreads challenge? Are you close? Did you beat it? Comment below and let me know!
