Tiny Navajo Reads: September Update

October 1, 2018 by TinyNavajo

Ridiculous! It’s October and I love October! This is my absolute favorite time of year as it cools down and the leaves start to turn colors. It’s FALL! And it’s time to tell you all that I read in September and what I’m looking forward to book-wise in October.

In all of September, I read a total of 10 books. Not as much as others, but I’m okay with Screen Shot 2018-10-01 at 12.01.15 PMthat. I read Everything That Remains, East, Goodbye, Things: The New Japanese Minimalism, Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders, Ice Massacre, The Red Notebook, The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up: A Magical Story, The Looking Glass Wars, Seeing Redd, and Oathbringer. I actually have some of these reviews up as well!

I’ve started to reread some books as husband and I watched Disney’s Alice in Wonderland recently and I had a set of Wonderland retellings, so I set out to reread them. And The Looking Glass Wars is just as interesting as I remember them. I’m reading the last one, Archenemy, and this one I don’t remember much from the first time I read them, but I’m enjoying reading them. I should try and find some more Alice in Wonderland retellings.

As for what I’m going to be working on in October, I have a series of books I would like to get read, but we will see what happens. So, I plan on reading An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green, one of my favorite YouTubers, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han, Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse, Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi, and I’d Rather Be Reading by Anne Bogel.

Oh! Also! I’ve finished my Goodreads Challenge with a few months to spare! Where are you guys with your Goodreads Challenge? Or do you not pay attention? Let me know!

What do you love about October? And books do you plan on reading during October? Comment below and let me know!
