The Joy of Less: A Minimalist Guide to Declutter, Organize, and Simplify by Francine Jay

Again, I’m looking to decrease all of my crap. This was one of many books that I’ve read. This has been one that wasn’t my favorite. Still has a lot of good things you can look through, so still a good book.
As with many of these books that I’ve been reading lately, the fewer things you have in your life, the happier you’ll be. And so far, I can see and understand where all of these books are coming from. As I have gotten rid of stuff, I have seen that I have less stuff to worry about and that makes me stress just a little bit less.
What bothers me about this book is that the author felt like she was condescending to those who picked up her book. So, she has a lot of good ideas, but I would rather read Marie Kondo’s books on decluttering again instead of this book. Her’s are more fun, and it’s like she’s a friend who just wants to help you get control of your life and your stuff.
What types of books have you read that were similar, but you liked one better? Why did you like that one better? Comment below and let me know!
