Paper and Fire by Rachel Caine

♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

paper and fireI need this series! I need to own all of this series! Need, need, need!!! I love this alternative universe and how much has changed because of one change in the course of human history.

Jess Brightwell has survived his induction into the world of the Library and all that that entails, but now he’s only there as a soldier, a lowly bronze bracelet, rather than the silver bracelet his family was hoping for; what he was both hoping for and dreading because of his family’s business. Jess’s life and the life of his friends’ has altered drastically. He has lost those closest to him and he’s doing everything he can in order to get them back.

As Jess and his friends start to meet together again in order to try and rescue Thomas, there’s a small slip up somehow and the Library is after Jess and his friends and they have to fleed Alexandria. But there is nowhere safe in the world for them, not even Jess’s family home. London has fallen and the Welsh are taking over. The only place where they can safely get seems to be the Burner’s headquarters in America. Boston.

I have no idea what will happen next, but I’m so excited to read it! I love this book series and I need to keep reading it! So, I need to find the third book…

What changes in history would you like to see? Why would you like to see them? Comment below and let me know!
